Magalloway Mountain, Piitsburg, NH as seen from Magalloway Road. Magalloway Road is a logging road that many use to access great hunting. Pittsburg is truly a sportsman’s paradise containing miles of woodland roads that provide easy access to uncrowded wilderness. The area supports a healthy herd of whitetail deer, moose and black bear. If it’s a trophy you’re after, they’re here in northern New Hampshire. Here you’ll find exciting upland bird hunting. Pittburg’s hardwood and softwood forests provide perfect grouse and woodcock cover. The average hunter can expect 10 to 15 flushes a day.

In October our fishing and hunting seasons overlap, providing the outdoorsman with the excitement of a "cast and blast" weekend.
